Introduction

This business started from a passion for fitness and bettering myself. I soon found pleasure in helping others in their fitness journey, be it weight loss, muscle gain, or just an overall improvement of their health and well being. I am a Certified Personal Trainer offering 1 on 1 or small group outdoor training sessions in Union City, NJ. Equipment includes: 45lbs standard Olympic Bar, 65lbs Trap Bar, 45lbs/35lbs/25lbs/10lbs Bumper Plates, 35lbs/20lbs/15lbs/10lbs dumbbells, Resistance Bands, Pulley System with attachments, Height adjustable squat/bench racks. Everything needed to get in great shape! “It is a shame for a man or woman to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which their body is capable”

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
It is competitive with the market. For the knowledge and experience I offer, I will gladly put my price against anyone’s.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I take them through a series of tests: for strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, etc. After evaluating their overall level of fitness, a comprehensive plan is put into place to match their goals and get them on the path to success.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have competed in two powerlifting meets and have read a plethora of books on the topics of exercise science, physiology, nutrition for performance, and the scientific principles of strength & hypertrophy training. I am always looking to further my knowledge and education so I can present more valuable information to the people I train.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Began 3-4 years ago and started mainly through social media. I started posting my daily workout because a group of friends would each text me individually asking what I did that day. It turned into a way for me to reach a larger group of people which I found enjoyment in.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have trained my 60 year old mother with numerous health issues down to a 14 year old teenage boy just beginning weight training. It can be tailored to anyone’s needs, no matter the age, gender, experience, or goals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently I worked with a long time friend of mine. For years I tried to show him a better way. He would crash diet for two weeks, lose 10lbs and then gain it all back and then some. I finally got him to buy into the sustainable approach and he’s now down 30lbs and looks/feels better than ever.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do your homework, make sure they are qualified.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It is important to watch out for scams and quick fixes. If its too good to be true, it probably is. It’s not easy to get fit so if someone out there is telling you it will be a breeze, run the other way.
