Introduction

My name is Guima Camil and i am a certified Personal Trainer by ACE , NASM and TRX. I offer IN PERSON and ONLINE services. I have been a personal trainer since 2018 and I am also a soccer coach. I love working with general public just as much as with athletes. My approach to fitness is based on health first and then the physique and aesthetics will follow. Managing nutrition, sleep, stress levels and recovery will be a priority as your trainer. All you have to do is show up and work hard! I have always been involved in physical activity and exercise and i love seeing how people improve their health and lifestyle through movement. I believe the fitness industry is growing at a really fast pace and along with it there are many people who are just looking to make some money. While that is ok , i believe we have a responsibility as trainers to make sure people who are paying for a service get a trainer who also cares about the client and their needs and continues to study, educate clients, and tailor the programs to their needs . What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always been involved in physical activity since i was a kid. There is nothing i enjoy more than being active and i decided to pursue a career helping others live a better , happier and healthier life through movement and exercise. I enjoy when my clients reach their goals and seeing how they build confidence and see how other aspects of their life improve such as their mood, sleep ,body composition along the way.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all kinds of people so far. Athletes, general population, women during pregnancy, elders etc. I enjoy working with different type of people but so far the majority of my clients have been adult women.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure that the trainer is a good fit. Very often clients worry about liking the trainer but you also have to feel like the trainer likes and cares about you too. There are thousands of professionals out there but in the end it comes down to someone you really can connect well with and shows genuine passion for what they do . Also ask and make sure they are certified by a reliable association.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Time commitment. Make sure it is something you can stick to for life. If youre only in it for a short period of time you probably wont enjoy it as much and are less likely to stick to it. Also make sure you know WHY you are beginning your training program. Do it because youre convinced you want to and its not an external type of pressure into it.
