Introduction

My experience has allowed me to work with a broad range of complicated cases. And I LOVE that! Training since 2001, I've worked with well over 1,300 individuals and have a very high retention rate. Several clients have maintained consistent schedules for several years. I'm listening to the client's need to solve a problem. And using my education in biomechanics, anatomy and technique to help individuals overcome chronic pain, injury, and illness. And to become stronger and better movers. I’m a certified personal trainer, a massage therapist and a pickleball coach. I train a few of the world’s top pickleball players! A few things stand out to make my work so much fun: The healing aspect and the reward of seeing someone feel better and accomplish goals. It's pure joy to watch someone become a better mover. As well as the variety, freedom, and creativity I get to experience...everyday is different!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Rates vary based on location of training and the duration of a session. I offer discounts! Rates range from $50-90/session for one on one. Package discounts are available for purchases of ten sessions or more at one time. Tandem and group sessions are also available.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First, a health history questionnaire is emailed to you. Then we schedule a free consultation. The consultation takes about 30 minutes and can be held anywhere convenient for both of us -- my studio or at your training location. We go over health history and your goals, as well as schedule. This is the opportunity to decide if we're going to be a good match for each other. There's no obligation with the free consultation. New clients are assessed over a period of three to five sessions and the programming becomes quite detailed from there.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Almost all of my clients have previous injury, illness or chronic pain issues. I have clients with advanced stage Parkinson's, rheumatoid arthritis, knee and hip replacements, soft tissue injuries (such as meniscus and rotator cuff tears), disc herniations, hypertension, stroke history (with one being confined to a wheelchair), autoimmune disorders, car accident history...the profiles of my current client list is long! And I'm happy to work with physicians and physical therapists to ensure congruent programming.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone you feel comfortable talking to. This is a very personal relationship and being able to be open, honest and communicate is paramount to success. The trainer should have at least 3 years of experience unless you know their personal track record. You deserve a smart and accomplished trainer!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Be sure that YOUR individual needs will be met. Listening is a trainer's most valuable skill. Be sure the location, budget, and time actually works with your schedule. Keep communicating as you get started with your trainer to be sure your trainer knows exactly what you need!
