What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Packages range from Month to Month basis to Long Term Packages (3-9 months). Prices are quoted once a consult is conducted where I can get a better idea of the a potential client, if we’ll be a good fit, and what kind of budget is available to invest in training & nutritional coaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Every new client gets a consult & assessment. This will be comprised of: getting to know you better, your fitness history, your goals, your diet/nutrition habits, & your medical/health history. Following this we will do a foundational workout that everyone can do that creates a baseline of data that helps me create a workout program specific to your goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

- Advanced Personal Trainer, Vocational Degree National Personal Training Institute, 15’ *NASM Education curriculum affiliate in: CPT, PES, CES, WLS, HCS - Health Educator, Vocational Degree National Holistic Institute, 18’ - ONNIT Academy Certified Trainer, Foundations of Mobility & Movement - ISSA Certified Personal Trainer - ISSA Certified Sports Nutritionist

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started after I was discharged from Active Duty in the Armed Forces. Fitness was always something I enjoyed doing, so I figured, why not try this as a career? It was more of something I wanted to try and say I did it if it didn’t work out. 12+ years later, it’s my full time career as a Trainer and Nutritional Coach and I love doing what I’m passionate about for a living.

General Population, Senior Population, Special Needs Demographics, Collegiate & Professional Athletes, Tech Executives & CEOs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of my long time clients that I have been working with for years, has made a massive break through in his fitness & nutrition. After years of ups and downs in personal life, but still showing up to put the work in daily, he finally took the jump into the nutritional side of his fitness and well being. In 10 months we’ve dropped 45 pounds of fat, added 10lbs of lean muscle, and are on track to sustain a better body composition for the long run.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions. A good fitness professional should have answers to all your questions, but a true & honest professional will admit when they don’t know something, and will outsource you or provide a source for your answer. It’s great to help people while staying in your lane & scope of practice. More importantly, look for a Personal Trainer that sets proper expectations. Many Trainers will lead with “quick fixes” or “challenges” to motivate clients to sign on. You want a Personal Trainer that will take the time to understand your body, without rushing the process. Long term sustainable results require patience, consistency, & time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Am I ready for this? A lot of people like the idea of a trainer or a fitness journey, but then they find out what it entails. It can be intimidating when you’re in a vulnerable spot. As long as there’s good communication, transparency, hard work, and consistency put in, results will come in time.
