Introduction

Do you have weight loss or fitness goals but don’t know where to start? Hi, I’m Amber Key and I’ve been a Personal Trainer for 11 years. I believe each client has individual needs when it comes to personal training. It’s my goal to determine and design a program just for you. We will work together to discover what motivates you and keep you motivated to meet your goals. I do my best to work with your schedule and I offer several training options. I have all needed equipment and will bring to you if needed. •Travel to your home • Travel to your apartment/clubhouse gym • A local park • Virtual training I believe you can do it and so will you! **Please note: For safety reasons, I DO NOT train men. Only exception is couples training**

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My quoted price is specific to location, time of day, length of session, and number of sessions per week provided in your request. In addition to standard training, I also offer mini sessions, discounted long term contract pricing and group discounts. I try to work with all of my clients to find a package that works well for their goals and budget. If you have any questions, please contact me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I normally set up a phone call or a quick meeting at a local Starbucks. This helps both the client and me find out if we click as well as go over any limitations and/or goals as well as put together a schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I regularly attend "train the trainers" events to learn new techniques and to stay up to date with any great new equipment.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Before becoming a personal trainer, I first became a group fitness instructor. I was approached by the Wellness Director of my gym to become a certified personal trainer for them. After a few years of working as a trainer for a gym, I opened my own business to offer training in home, outdoors and now virtual training. This allows me to charge less than the gym and have more flexibility.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I only work with female clients. My only exception is couples training. My client age range is 12 yrs old to 70 yrs old. I have worked with a wide variety of clients anywhere from people who have just been released from physical therapy, never worked out before to athletes preparing for an event.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had a client who had never worked out before but had a dream of becoming a police officer. She handed me the physical test she needed to pass in order to get into the police academy. After working with me for several months, she not only passed her physical test but she surpassed the ladies who came from the military. She now works for McKinney police department and I am super proud of her!!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
There is great value in hiring a personal trainer who comes to you. I worked in the gym scene for years and have noticed my clients do a much better job with pushing themselves without the fear of others staring at them/judging.
