Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer fair pricing for my sessions. I offer discounts if you purchase a package of personal training sessions! I also offer referral discounts as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We will work together during our intro session that will give me an insight as to how your body moves in three dimensional space. We will dive into your habits, your current fitness routine and develop a plan together to get you closer to your goals!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have almost a decade of experience as a personal trainer. I currently hold a Bachelors or Science in Exercise Science. I am NASM certified and am a certified mobility specialist through the Functional Range Systems program.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When I was in high school, I wanted to make the basketball team. I knew I needed to get stronger and more fit. I never made the team and just focused on the weight room to get stronger and practicing in open gyms. I went on to play tons of recreational basketball. My weakness in basketball was conditioning and I needed to get better at running, which led me to becoming a marathoner. I ran 7 marathons from 2016-2019. Now, I am focused on training the everyday person to develop a better relationship with fitness. Fitness has become a journey and my biggest art I craft every day.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with younger and older clients. I’ve trained athletes, obese individuals, incredibly tall clients (some movements they physically cannot do), clients with poor movement patterns, and everyone in-between. I love my job and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my favorite projects so far has involved my online clients and their programs. It helps me be innovative and expressive. Creating a challenging program for them has been exciting for me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Read reviews, do the research, and look for timely responses in the professional you seek.
