Introduction

I live and breathe Health and Fitness! If I'm not training any of my clients, I'm training myself to get in the best shape I can possibly push my body to. This desire also inspires me to compete in Health and Fitness shows. The gym I train is called Timberline fitness studio! 4305 Jack St, Houston, TX 77006 Mastering how my body works allows me to understand what works for me and what doesn't. Understanding programs, technique and nutrition allows me to be a leading, prime example to my clients on how I'm going to approach a client's Health and Fitness goals and needs. I can say that because I've done practical studies on myself, formulated facts and opinions of my own, and have applied these experiences to my programs. I can now educate my clients through the knowledge I've gained over many years, and be 100% confident, assuring and honest with my opinion and skill set to train my clients. My work ethic and willingness to be the best at my craft reflects and eventually is embedded into my clients. I take pride in taking care of myself to be a motivation, inspiration and role model to my clients so I train to look the part of a trainer, act like a professional trainer and educate myself like a trainer so I know the ins and outs of my craft! Then and only then can I give my honest, educating, unbiased, practical opinion to my clients! Everything about it! The fact that I can honestly say that this is not a job for me, but a PASSION! Helping my clients achieve their Health, Fitness and Life Goals is truly gratifying!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My rates are competitive and at fair market value. I extend to my clients what I feel is reasonable for them and for me, considering the degree of my experience and the caliber of service I render. This is where I apply the Golden Rule: I give 110% and provide the best value for my clients, always keeping them in mind first. Let me share with you my philosophy and what is included in my packages. Please read below and feel free to call me with any questions. I'll promptly respond and look forward to working with you! I am a Certified Personal Trainer with over 10 years experience 4 certifications and I also compete in fitness shows. So I breath and live Health and Fitness!... To succeed in your Health&Fitness goals you have to have the right programs tailored to your goals and needs. Weight training to build muscle to burn calories. Cardio training to burn calories essentially burning fat. Core training to build a strong foundation, balance and stabilization. Nutrition then comes into play keeping in mind ones goals and needs. Whether a person is wanting to build more muscle or lose some body weight/fat we want to understand the science of macro nutrients and figure out what food sources are going to work for you in your nutrition phase. Here's is a great example. If you are Ferrier, you need to put in 93 gas if you want to perform at top speed and help keep maintenance thru the engine. Same applies for your body, the cleaner you eat the better your body feels and you will also enhance your performance optimally! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Communication is fundamental and key to our journey together. I begin with a health and fitness consultation to assess goals, focusing on where, what, how, and why. Where are we at? What is the safest and most effective way to proceed for my client's body type and lifestyle? What is our goal together? Is our priority to gain muscle, lose fat, or both? How will we train together? There is no cookie-cutter approach, every individual’s game plan is different. And finally, why? Why is a change necessary? Why is a change desired? The "why" is a key and critical component that clients tend to overlook, but it is often the driving force and sets the tone for how we will meet and exceed our goals together.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
From a young age, I've had an insatiable drive to excel in health and fitness. I've been a lifelong athlete and competitor, and I thrive on helping others experience the fulfillment that I receive when meeting my health and fitness goals as well. I know, first hand, the dedication, attention to detail, and patience required for this journey, and I willingly share my knowledge and experience with my clients to help them succeed.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
As mentioned, I know first-hand the dedication, attention to detail, and patience required to accomplish goals. It is as much a mental challenge as it is a physical one. A few months ago, I set my mind to prepare for my 3rd competitive health and fitness show. One of the projects I needed to tackle was learning the more effective way to count macro nutrients to attain my desired physique. What a humbling experience it was! I learned a more scientific approach to counting macros, how to better schedule supplementation, build and maintain muscle while losing body fat at the same time, and more. This project was fun and fulfilling because I conquered yet another goal and gained an in-depth understanding to the many moving parts of what embodies overall health and fitness. I am excited and driven each day to help share this knowledge and experience with my clients to help move them forward with their goals. Its the actual process and real-life experiences that I've been through with my own health and fitness projects that gives me the full confidence that I can help you to be the best version of you!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When searching for a personal trainer, remember that your TIME and RESOURCES are valuable! Take the time to meet and get to know your trainer so that you can be sure that he/she understands your goals and has the experience, time, and passion to help you on your journey. My philosophy and approach encompasses traditional fundamentals while integrating today's modern techniques and training programs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1 ) Does this trainer look and act the part of a fitness professional? Is he/she an athlete? Whether or not my trainer is devoted enough to take care of himself/herself demonstrates the knowledge and dedication that he/she can impart to me. It also reinforces the understanding and empathy required to guide and build others through strategic nutrition, health, and fitness. 2) Is my trainer passionate about what he does for a living? Does he take pride in helping others reach their personal goals in a knowledgeable and experienced manner? Knowing that I will work with my trainer on a daily or consistent basis, it’s important that my trainer can be genuine, motivating, and inspiring. 3) Do I trust this person with my physical well being, that they will keep me safe and have my best interest at all times? If I can check all 3 as I consider hiring a Personal Trainer, then I know I am ready to invest in my health and fitness and to make an active, positive change in my life!
