What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We prefer to meet with potential members prior to the start of any program. We want to ensure that we will be a good fit for our clients. If for some reason we believe our approach will not help them reach their goals, we will be happy to refer them to another professional.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started by coaching soccer and focused primarily in sports performance. I then switched gears and realized he wanted to help the general population lose weight and improve their health. I founded Xtend Fitness and we now focus on helping our members improve their lifestyle with proper exercise, nutrition, mindset and rest.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with diverse populations ranging from children/adolescents, elite athletes, and adults/seniors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have helped one of my clients lose a 100 lbs in less than a year. I implemented our mindset strategy into her program and learned that mental strength is very important during the health improvement journey.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research and make sure the professional you are seeking to hire specializes in helping people with goals similar to yours. (i.e. weight-loss, muscle gain, etc.)

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Before speaking with a fitness professional please know that accomplishing your goal(s) takes time. All great personal trainers can agree that a “quick fix” mentality doesn’t belong in the gym or the kitchen. It takes discipline to reach your goals, you have to be willing to eat the right foods and be adherent to your fitness routine.
