What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Upon contact we will schedule a phone consultation. It is during this time that we will address any unanswered questions you may still have. Furthermore we will schedule an in person consultation where I will begin to assess strengths and weaknesses. After our first workout I will begin advising you on exercises to do on your own as well as provide you with a basic nutritional guide. From this point we will work together in orchestrating changes according to the needs of your body. Methodology in exercise and nutrition will change over time as you transition through different states of healthy living. I will encourage you be consistent with changes and that you remain open to understanding what your body is signaling. If there is a point in time in which you have a question I urge you to ask. I am available to clients via text or phone call within the confines of my business hours.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Studied at Kansas State University for Kinesiology and Nutrition (2010-2012) Self-educated (2012-present)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
As I was growing up involvement in sports was a constant. I always liked the competition. Even at a young age I realized how good it made my body feel to keep moving. Over time exercise became so normal that I started sharing what I had learned with others. At 18 I started training at a local gym here in San Antonio. By 21 I was managing that gym, and by 23 I had opened my own business. Since then, I’ve devoted my efforts towards injury prevention, nutritional strategies for good health, and flexibility practices that keep the body resilient. There is nothing else I would rather do. I love it!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Many of my clients have been simply looking to feel better. Losing weight and gaining strength is generally the focus for most who have come to me. Frequently I work with clients who are preparing for athletic events. The strategies are generally similar but not the same as those looking to lose weight. A healthy body is lean, strong and has endurance. I have worked with several individuals getting ready for PT testing. Many of these clients come to me with limited time to prepare. We always manage to get the job done.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Over the past five years I’ve dedicated my focus to building a diet program that ensures optimal health. A diet program that keeps the body from breaking down as we age. I believe we all slow down a bit as we age, but that doesn’t mean our bodies should fall apart. With this in mind I developed a %100 natural raw plant based diet. It works amazing for people of all ages. Losing excess weight has never been so easy for my clients. In fact, they feel better than they ever have. They all share great energy, and no digestive discomfort throughout the day. Many of them who suffered with inflammation, arthritis, and swelling no longer do. I’m proud to say it has been a monumental accomplishment for me! It is an absolute pleasure to share this program with others.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Hire a trainer who customizes workouts to your specific needs. There are a lot of exercise and nutritional programs out there. Many of them have the potential to do more harm than good. Choose a trainer with experience, and a good track record. Even more important, choose a trainer that looks the part. A good leader leads by example. Hire a trainer who is focused on foods that are optimal for long lasting health. When you spend as much time as I have studying the body you find that a plant based diet is one of the best ways to keep the body healthy over time. Processed and genetically modified foods both hinder the body one way or another.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I believe there is only one question you have to be sure about before embarking on a new journey. Are you ready for change?
