Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer both group and individual sessions. My individual rates are; once a week ($75 a session) twice a week ($70 a session) three or more times a week ($60 a session). Individual sessions are sold in packages. Group rates are; 2 people ($40 per person) 3 people ($35 per person) and 4 or more ($30per person). All sessions are an hour and I generally don't do groups larger than 4 people.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I offer a free fitness consultation where we can set goals and discuss implementing training into helping you reach those goals. Contact me today to set up a time to meet and do a consultation!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a bachelor's degree from BYU in exercise science. I am also certified through ACSM and NASM. In addition I have 15 years of experience working as a personal trainer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I struggled with my weight when I was a kid. I became passionate about fitness in high school and it completely changed my life. I decided I wanted to share this knowledge and experience with others. I started training in 2001 at 24 Hour Fitness till 2012. In 2012 I left 24 Hour to train at a private training studio in Orem called Strive. I'm still currently training there.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with a wide range of clients ranging from professional athletes to post rehab patients. My oldest client is currently 90 years old and the youngest is 10. I've helped clients lose 150lbs and others train for triathlons

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Last year I helped a client lose 150lbs. It was amazing to see his progress and feel his determination as fitness changed his entire life!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I'd get as much information about a trainers education and experience. Most trainers are lacking in both of these areas. Also, if you are looking for individual training make sure the trainers really do individual sessions. Many trainers say they do individual sessions for a cheap cost, but what they are really offering are group workouts.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What are my goals? How can training help me reach those goals? What experience and education do you have related to personal training?
