What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

At Create Fitness We provide one on one, small group, and large group training sessions as well as nutritional guidance. Each person that we meet with starts with a consultation so that we can find the best plan to maximize your success. Monthly rates will vary based on each members individual plan.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

You will start with a consultation to determine program for your specific goals. During the consultation we will: -Talk in depth about what you want to accomplish, why it is important to you, previous workout history and experience, current nutritional habits, as well as any preexisting injuries or medical concerns that we should be aware of. -Take baseline measurements such as weight and body composition -Conduct a brief movement analysis to get a baseline of your current fitness level. At the end of the consultation you will discuss your results and the program that would maximize your results.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 20 years of coaching experience from the general population to high level college athletes. My degrees and certifications include: -B.S. Exercise and Rehabilitation Science (University of Hawaii) -M.S. Exercise and Rehabilitation Science (University of Hawaii) - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) -Certified Program Design Specialist (NSPA) -Level 1 Functional Movement Screen Practitioner (FMS) My staff is also highly certified holding certifications from organizations such as: -National Strength and Conditioning Association -National Sports Performance Association -National Academy of Sports Medicine -American College of Sports Medicine -Certified Functional Strength Coach -Functional Movement Systems

How did you get started doing this type of work?

In 2006 I was an athlete at the University of Hawaii. I was always "the big guy" and athletic but at 6 feet tall and 255lbs I was more than big...I was overweight. After a severe injury caused me to sit out for most of the season I knew that my best chance at recovery would be to maximize my health and fitness. Through proper diet and exercise I lost 50lbs and became the fittest, healthiest version of myself possible. The transformation changed my life and was so impactful that I have now dedicated my life to helping people become the fittest, healthiest versions of themselves as well.

At Create Fitness we provide a personalized experience that is designed to help our members lose weight, get fit, and live pain-free healthy active lives without crash diets or long painful workouts. Every session is led by a highly certified coach to maximize the time you spend in the gym, we take out all the guesswork! We pride ourselves in meeting each client where they are at and then progressing forward from there. Whether you are just getting started or a veteran gym goer we promise a safe, effective, engaging workout every time you are in the gym.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be ready to make an investment. 99% of people get no results at the gyms that charge $10-$40/month because no one is there to hold you accountable and deliver a plan that works. When you invest in your health and fitness make sure that you are paying for a plan of action that will help you stay on track, deliver a plan that is backed by science (not fads and gimmicks), and will support you for the long term. Also by investing in your health and fitness you are more likely to follow through with showing up and sticking to a plan that will deliver results.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The best way to find if someone will be to provide a service is to look at their reviews on MULTIPLE sites. But here are some questions to ask yourself: -What are you comfortable spending per month to achieve your goals -How serious are you in achieving your health and fitness goals? -Are you ready to commit today, or is there something that will be holding you back? -Have you talked to your significant other about your decision to work with a professional regarding your fitness goals? Are they supportive? -How much time are you willing to commit to living a fit and healthy lifestyle? -Are you willing to change your current lifestyle and habits in order to find success? These are common issues that I have found come up when people think that they are ready to commit to a program and then find that they are held back when it comes time to commit. I want to help you find success, but you must be ready and willing to do the work.
