Introduction

Thanks for checking out my profile! I want to start by saying that I do have to pay a fee in order to receive your message so please please make sure that you are serious about training and are confident that you want me to be your trainer. I don’t want to waste your time and I don’t want to end up paying for a lead that doesn’t want to work with me. My price is $55 per session and below I list everything you get for that price which is much more than just the training sessions. I also offer a free consultation where we can meet at my gym and go over everything in more detail! I’m located by butler and I own my own private facility so you don’t have to worry about being in a public corporate setting. So just keep everything in mind before making a decision and I hope we can work together! I’ve been a personal trainer for 10 years and I really love what I do! I enjoy helping my clients reach their goals and feel better about themselves while living a healthier lifestyle and I take everyone at their own special pace based on how experienced they are. I’m not just your average trainer either, I want to make sure you understand everything about the process of getting in shape and that you have as much information as I can to better help you succeed. I go very in depth to make sure you aren’t just doing the exercises properly, but understand why we are doing those exercises. I want you to know what it’s called, what muscles it’s working, in what ways it’s helping you reach your goals, and how you can do it safely and effectively. I also make sure to heavily go over nutrition which is arguably more important and difficult. I wanna make sure you know how to track your calories, how to meal prep, what foods to eat and when, and how to really build the best meal plan for you. I take care of finding your calories and macros and can even write a meal plan for you. I will also go one step further and write a workout plan on days you lift on your own that supplements our workouts together. That way you can feel confident in the gym and can hit your goals even faster. I’m also going to be setting up all your workouts, changing your weights, wiping down your equipment, and cleaning up at the end. I work with all ages and experience levels and will do everything I can to help you succeed. I hope you choose to have me as your trainer and I can’t wait to help you!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is very very fair. Most corporate gyms will charge you upwards of $75-$80 dollars a session and lock you into this crazy contract. Not to mention if you end up not liking your trainer or don’t think they are doing a good job, you are usually stuck with them. I currently charge $40 a session which is very affordable. I offer discounts when amounts are paid in full in advance, as well as if you decide to train more than once per week. You also get a FREE membership to my gym which many others can’t offer you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to have a free meeting with them to discuss more in depth their goals and fitness history, as well as get to know them and find out certain things to best help them reach their goals. I then usually offer them one free session to “try before they buy” which gives them a chance to see what my gym is like as well as what training with me is like. If they want to continue , then we get them on a schedule and go from there. If they don’t choose to continue with me, I make sure to help layout a plan for them to make some progress on their own. You never leave empty handed with me and you get a lot before you need to hand over any money.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have my NASM Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. It is one of the best training certifications you can have and consists of months of studying and learning with a test at the end needing higher than 80% to pass.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got really into fitness after an accident in 2012 that left me very weak and with most of my muscle lost. I did a lot of research and started building my body back up. I took what I learned and got my friends to come to the gym and through helping them I developed a like for teaching fitness to people. They said I would be a great trainer, so I started working at the gym we went to. I soon found out that I was not a fan of how corporate gyms did business and made the decision to become independent. Work was slow, but then I got together with some other friends and we started our own gym!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with many types of people. From people who have never worked out and never been fit, to Navy Seals and athletes who’s job is to be fit. If you want to lose weight, I can help. If you want to build or tone muscle, I can help. If you want to become stronger and more athletic, I can help. If you want to just get more fit and healthy, I can help. Any and all types of people are welcome to train with me.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My biggest and most recent project would be the completion of our gym. Me and 3 Co-Owners spent 5 months working hard to turn an old dirty warehouse that once was an auto shop, into our gym we have today. It was an amazing experience and now we have a home where we can help others and promote health and fitness.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would say to make sure they have some sort of certification or degree that shows they know what they are doing. Also make sure you meet with them first before hiring, this way you can get a sense of who they really are and how the two of you get along. Make sure not to overpay someone, and if you can hire someone not within a corporate gym I suggest you do that.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I would say customers need to really make sure they can be committed and consistent before they purchase personal training. It’s very frustrating both to the trainer and themselves when the choice is made to quit early. Results don’t happen over night. This stuff takes time and you need to be patient and consistent. Put the work in and results will follow.
