Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is flexible for larger groups, especially for headshots. If you're looking for headshots for a whole team/office please send me a message via ******************.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Client sends me an inquiry. We check on availability and pricing to see if we're a good fit together. Contract is signed, and deposit is paid. Photographs are magically produced (just kidding we gotta take photos) I edit the photos and send them back to clients through an online gallery. Clients download photos.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
15 years of self taught photography. Numerous weddings, events, portrait sessions, and just a whole assortment of client work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Happened naturally after learning photography for 8 years. At first I went through the growing pains of a small business, but I’ve gotten a handle on things as time progressed.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with a wide range of characters at this point. Majority of clients are just everyday people who need a photographer to photograph the special moments of their lives. Sometimes it can be hard for people to be in front of the camera, but at the end of the day as a photographer it's my job to capture their genuine selves.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Head a large project for a company in SF, feels great everytime because I'm just hanging out in the office taking some photos and everyone seems to love the novelty.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Please take a look at their work and see if they're a good fit for what you're looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Do I actually intend on hiring the professional? Is my budget realistic for the job I'm requesting? No one likes to be ghosted or lowballed, and especially on a service like thumbtack where professionals are charged each time they receive an inquiry.
