Introduction

Hi, my name is Diana and I'm the photographer behind Just Love Pictures. I started taking portraits during a charity trip to Ghana where I photographed women beginning their entrepreneurial clean water businesses in their village. From there I continued to do portraits for nonprofits, especially those focusing on women and children. Photography to me is about creating a legacy. There's nothing I treasure more than photographs of my family, even those I never had the chance to meet. You deserve to have something to pass down to future generations of their family and say, "Look, this is where you came from." Life is about our people, how we love them, how they love us in return, and the stories that will live on with future generations. I want to take the time to get to know you and find out your quirks, hear funny family stories, learn how you love on one another, and what makes you and your family unique. I'm not looking for a quick shoot and I prefer to create art pieces over digital files. Someday your great, great, great-grandchildren will see you in your portrait and say, "So that's where I get my good looks from!" Working with me is easy. We'll schedule a consultation over the phone to chat about what you're looking for and what I can offer. calendly.com/justlovepictures/consultation Once you've booked, we'll fill in the details about styling and location. Then we'll have an awesome time shooting! Lastly, I'll show you your best portraits and turn them into a legacy pieces you and your family will treasure. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and your family. Just Love, Diana

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I'm with you every step of the way. First, we'll chat to see if we're a great match for each other. Then, we'll consult and decide on the elements of the photoshoot - everything from wardrobe, to location, to time of day. Then we'll shoot! Finally, you'll get to see your very best edited portraits and from there we'll choose which portraits tell your family's love story best and how we'll turn them into timeless art for your home and future generations.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I'm lovingly self taught! I take photography courses and watch hours and hours (and hours) of photography classes. But the best education I've received is taking photographs and continually working on mastering this art form. I love to learn and am constantly applying new skills to give my clients the very best of what I have.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started taking portraits during a trip to Ghana. I was there helping women in a rural village start a sustainable water business. When I wasn’t working I was hanging out with the kids taking photos of them and letting them snap selfies. That’s when I really fell in love with taking portraits of people.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I actively seek to photograph multiple generations of a single family at once, especially families driven by strong women. I love the babies and the kids, but I also love getting the spark out of the grandparents. All the families, just give me all the families!
