Introduction

We believe no love story is the same, and your engagement deserves to be uniquely captured. We push ourselves to consistently create art and are intentionally creative with our work. We strive to go beyond simply documenting poses, aiming to capture the essence of your connection. Our passion is in preserving memories and even the candid moments you might not have noticed. After all, these are the photos that will remind you of how you felt as your journey together began.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When working with a new customer I gather as many details about their session as possible. I like to set up a call to ensure we are a good fit, then discuss my client’s expectations, wants, and needs. From there we begin the fun stuff! I love working with my clients are their specific needs, reach out and we can discuss yours!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
While doing volunteer work in Central America I had the opportunity of meeting and working with the world renowned Photographer April Visel. She mentored me for a year and guided me a lot in learning to use my camera, and capture the raw moments in people’s relationships; the things that make them, them. From then on I continued learning by hands on second shooting, reading all I could, and taking short classes online.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It all started at a very young age with my grandpa taking photos of my sisters and I. He constantly had his camera out and would (at times) allow me to take a photo or two with it. The film was expensive so he couldn’t waste it, but as I grew older, I couldn’t get my hands off it. By 12 years old I worked hard, saved up, and was able to buy my first point and shoot. By age 15 I had a DSLR. Soon after, I began traveling and making a career of photography.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would advice all prospective customers to look at each potential photographer’s work and ensure that they are going to provide what photos you want for you and your significant other. This means looking at their way of editing, their poses (are the poses candid or a little more posed?), etc.
