Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My average pricing Pre-Covid was $4-5,000. Since COVID I have lowered my rate to accommodate the current inflation and economic pains that everyone is going thru.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Pre Covid, I used to meet everyone for coffee or a beer, since then, time is everything for the average client. Although I'd love to meet for a beer or coffee, I'm also open to meeting over the phone/FaceTime/zoom etc... After the initial consultation, we go over and develop a timeline, and then day of rolls in and we end up shooting your day, 7-10 business days you get your photos!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Everything I've learned has been since I was a kid to now. After 500 + weddings and 100's of portrait sessions, I can honestly say I am a top tier photographer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was taking photographs for friends/family and eventually I was asked to shoot a wedding. I ended up shooting it, not having a clue on what I was doing and I ended up killing it. I've been doing it ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all types of people, cultures, religions, orientations, etc...

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Sometimes a deal looks too good to be true, sometimes you'll have friends or family members offer to shoot your wedding for free or at a huge discount. If they are working on their portfolio, just ask yourself this major question, "Do you want your wedding to be their training ground?"
