What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My prices are affordable yet competitive. I offer a 10% discount for active and retired military personnel as a thank you for your service to this country.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I'll schedule a time with you to connect /chat in the way that you're comfortable with. I prefer meeting in person to discuss engagement and wedding details, to make sure we have a good rapport. With other sessions, we can use Zoom, have a phone call, email, etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Being in business of 8 years, I've done a variety of sessions. Starting out, I've taken classes at Mike's Camera as well as gaining experience being out in the field, just practicing, practicing and practicing. As you well know, Google is our friend, and so is YouTube for learning!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been behind the lens for over 12 years, photographing landscapes, wildlife and birds. I had a good friend who saw the potential in my photography and paid me my first family session. It took off from there!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with all types of personalities, from young to 'mature'. Babies, parents, seniors, etc. Not many have been hard to please.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

More recent projects have been weddings and they can take about a month to six weeks to deliver.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at their style, lighting and feeling you get from their photos. Do they evoke an emotion?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

have an idea of what your photography budget is. Think about your style. Do you like dark, light or cinematic photos? Do you like them artsy? What do you want captured? What is most important to you, if you have to make a compromise.
