Introduction

With over 30 years of experience, I am a punctual and courteous photo cinema and video professional with scalable solutions who can handle any event you need visual memories made at, small or large. Whether it's weddings, portraits, family groups, reunions, youth sports, real estate, public relations, graduation photos on the campus of Santa Fe College, University of Florida, and other schools, or social media, I can capture the moments that matter to you. I can also create stunning art prints for your home, enhance your online presence, and get your Air BNB or Zillow Real Estate photos ready to go with my advanced photography skills. You can choose the outdoor location that suits your style, from the beach to the park to the city. I serve Alachua and nearby counties in North Central Florida and I am willing and able travel for destination weddings, concert tours, and more. I offer quality, reliability, and professionalism. I am a Gainesville Fine Arts Association member and a military Veteran. My prices are fair and reasonable! There are no hidden costs. I provide you with ready to use digital negatives. They are not watermarked in any way. You can print and share them immediately, or you can request I have custom prints made for you. It's easy, friendly, and cost effective.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Suggested prices are intended to give you an idea of the general price range for services. Once we discuss the particulars, such as how many photos you need, what size you are hoping to print them to, and where the photo shoot will be conducted, I will be able to provide an accurate estimate. I am careful to provide a full list of what is included in the estimate. I only require a deposit for certain types of assignments, and will hold a date for you once the estimate is agreed upon. You pay for the photos after you've had a chance to review them and you are satisfied. Are you a military veteran? If so, ask me about the military discount!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I give a comprehensive estimate for you to review. My prices are competitive. I ask that you provide a few photos you find online with 'ideas' for the shoot, or of pictures that you like. That sets the basis for a successful collaboration together.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cleveland State University. Formally trained in lighting and print work, as well as general commercial and editorial photography in the early 1990's at Studio R, Inc., a large professional photo studio located in Cleveland, OH.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started in Commercial Photography in early 1990s. My early work was quickly accepted for publication by local newspaper and magazine editors. I also found success among corporate clients, producing photography for public affairs, marketing, and advertising material. I have been successfully published many times over the years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
A wide variety from magazine editors to expecting mothers and aspiring models…

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently provided editorial photography for a magazine article. There was one main subject and four other subjects. Because we were not able to get everyone together for one photo shoot, we ended up doing multiple shoots over several days. Combined, the shoot took about 2 and 1/2 hours, and the editor said the results were great!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Shop around and come prepared to discuss what you are looking for from the photographer.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should have a rough plan consisting of who, what, why, how, when, and where before talking to a professional photographer.
