What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once the client has inquired about my services, a 15 minute phone consultation is scheduled where the client and I will ask and answer questions pertaining the photo shoot or wedding. Once both parties have answered questions and the process has been discussed, the client and I agree to move forward, there is an in person consultation. In person consultation is more specific about the wedding and engagement pictures and for photo sessions we discuss location, looks, props time and date. Also, during this consultation time we will go over the contract and both parties will sign and the client will pay the non-refundable booking/session fee. This consultation is important because it gives us a chance to get to know each other and figure out if we are a good fit. It also allows me to get an idea of what the client wants so that I can provide them with the best possible service. I always want my clients to be happy with the final product, so this consultation is essential in making sure that happens.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you ask all of the questions pertaining to your photo session or wedding. Ask specific questions so that you better understand what the process is, what to expect and when to expect it. Take notes of the conversation. View their work. If you like bright and airy photos look for a photographer that offer that type of sessions. If you like dark and moody, be sure to find a photographer that offers that type of photography.
