Hello there! We are Jon and Becky Kent. Welcome to our page! We are a husband and wife photography team from Northern Virginia specializing in fine art wedding photography. We are hopeless romantics, who love doing everything together. We love pretty wedding details and gorgeous decor, we love soft light, we love sharing our couples joy, but most of all we love preserving the moments that our couples will treasure for the rest of their lives.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our wedding experience is $3200. However we’re happy to customize your experience to fit your needs!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We don’t just want to take pictures on your wedding day, we want to say create a real connection. We want to support, encourage and cheer you on. We hope to be your photographers, but more importantly, your friends. Forever. We want to spoil you with special treats, encouragement and to pamper you with exceptional service and to craft a complete wedding experience unlike any other.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Together we have over 10 years of experience, and have shot hundreds of weddings.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Jon and I both owned our own photography business before we met! For both of us it began as a hobby, but turned into so much more. When we got married we knew it was a match made in heaven, not only for us, but for our business, and The Kents Photography was born.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with all types of customers, but we found our sweet spot, with couples who value joy, and connection.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of our favorite projects was a wedding recently! The groom's family has been good friends of ours since we shot their first son's wedding many years ago! We've now captured each of their son's weddings and look forward to their daughters wedding in a few years! It is always special to see a family grow! It was like a family reunion for us! We love it!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find a photographer you connect with and trust. When you have that connection with someone, you will feel comfortable and confident on your wedding day.
