I’ve been practicing the visual arts for 22 years. Photography was a passion turned career. I specialize in portraiture done in a cinematic style. I have the most utility in shooting for design or artistic applications. The photos I take are best used for branding, packaging, advertisement, or Art.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My hourly starts AFTER I have finished setup and lighting tests. There may be a driving fee, but the clock always starts after setup, not before if off camera lighting is required. There is a fixed number of photos guaranteed per hour, additional photos required will incur an hourly editing fee of $50 per hour. I guarantee 5 photos per hour shot on location at magazine quality to be included free (Skin retouch, color grading, facial retouching, and lighting adjustments. Ex. 3 hour shoot includes 15 photos edited, if 20 photos are required the final bill will be +50 dollars. Event photography is conducted with on Camera flash in Low Light environments and photos are edited in bulk. Clients can opt to select 5 photos at a time to be edited for advertising.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I’d like to get to know the customer in person and get a feel of who they are. It’s always best when customers show me examples of work they most appreciated so I can adapt my approach to their preferences. I take a graphic designers approach to photography.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Formally Trained in LA for Visual Communication and Analytical Figure Drawing in 2016-2017. Professional Graphic Designer from age 16-20 2004-2009 Schooling for Graphic Design in 2011-2013. Private Practice since 2000.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I love working with people and drawing/design is too lonely.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Influencers, Celebrities, Models, and Normal people! Many of my clients who look like professional models are not one :)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The best projects are natural lighting in unique locations.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have a mood board or reference of the style of look you’d like to best be captured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Location, Models, and Additional services (ex. Make-up Artist, Food Designer, etc.)
