Introduction

Photography and Videography are my perspectives of what I see & envision to narrate into memories, be it a photograph or Short video, teaser or a short film. I'm a storyteller and love to narrate stories via my pictures and videos for a number of years. I create a relationship with my clients to learn their personality, interests and comfort zone to create well crafted images. Every time a client sends me, thank you so much for creating a memory, it brings an ultimate joy and satisfaction. As an actor, writer, director, editor, I bring an extra fabric of creativity that will add value to your event. Im new to Thumbtack so please bear with me as I am loading my reviews. All revenue that's generated here is donated to a Non Profit organization dedicated to help research for a ultra rare disease. I also offer 50% discount for children / families with Special needs. Thank you

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I try to keep my prices at/below the competition as I do this with passion plus everything that's generated here is going to a non profit organization dedicated to help research find a cure for an Ultra Rare Disease. For kids/ families with special needs, I always provide 50% discount.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I typically schedule a 1-1 call to go over the requirements of the event. I then carefully analyze the requirements and prepare a plan. I try to visit my client before the event to understand their tastes etc to better prepare myself. If it is an in house event, I also try to take a look at the real estate to determine the lighting requirements and camera placements.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
- I am an award winning filmmaker- The List, Maurya's Rare Odyssey to name a few - I am an Actor, Writer, Director, Editor, Director of Photography and a Producer and so I bring that extra fabric of creativity embedded in me to your event that provides a unique experience. - I am an Author as well (The Pursuit of Triumph) and I believe every picture should tell a story. Whether it is artwork or writing, I believe the details and perspective are pivotal. - I am a self taught photographer

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Since childhood , I have been very passionate about on-screen presence and that how I ventured into Acting. Passion for photography slowly emerged as part of filmmaking process. I have been doing this since 2010 but never really looked this from a business perspective but purely from a passion/art / favor perspective. It is only from 2020, when I started charging and donating all revenue to a non profit for an Ultra Rare Disease- HSP SPG4 research.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with various types of customers and events. Some customers are picky, specific on what they want and many are open, flexible and on-the go. I can work with both of those types to cater the needs of the event/ people.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project that I did and am fond of was shooting an Indian Wedding. This was not the actual wedding day but its called Groom Making and it happens before the wedding. The shoot took solid 6.5 hours but it was fun because the day is split into several events packed into that one day. I could see the joy and happiness behind my lens in the eyes of the groom and parents, the love and warmth of the family and friends amidst the ceremony. I did both photo/ Video for this event. I am specialized in teaser cuts that usually ends up

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
- Experience and numbers matter but not always. Classic example is my case. I have been doing this for a number of years but not for profit so please take time to read FAQs and see their work on their profile and then may be pay attention to the numbers.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
- Provide as many details as possible about the event- For example- Number of guests, introduce your family (so that can be prioritized when picturing) friends, your specific needs, your favorite angles, costume changes, any kids portraits needed etc. This will help the photographer in the big picture for planning the event. I believe every event is important, how big or small they may be. Small can be made big with Planning, meticulous details and great photography/ videography.
