Introduction

Hello! My name is Brigette and I am based out of the Chicago land area, but make it my mission to travel for photography as much as possible! My speciality is Elopements, weddings, engagements, & proposals! However, I shoot a large variety of subjects ranging from family portraits, to newborns, to events, seniors, branding, boudoir & more! I like to connect my subjects with nature and use natural lighting to create breathtaking images that emphasize my love for the natural beauty we find outside every day! I’m all about the adventure in life! I care as much about the location, the landscape, and creating a fun adventure during our shoot, as I do about getting you the most epic pictures imaginable! I also put a strong emphasis on the relationship and bond we will have with each other, and want to help you every step of the way to create your dream shoot! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is based per hour. I offer 2-3 different pricing packages based on what you are looking for.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When working with new clients, I like to actually develop and maintain relationships! I love to get to know you, your family, & or your loved one. I want to hear what attracts you to my work. What is super important to you to get out of your shoot, and I want to hear if you have any passions or interests that are important to incorporate in your shoot! This is all about you and I want to make it as easy and relaxed as possible on your end!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I received my bachelors degree in Art from the University of Iowa with a focus on photography! I have interned with several leading Chicago land area photographers in the past few years, and I have invested in high end adventure wedding photography workshops across the United States! I have invested a lot in my training and education in regards to the photography field and feel very confident in the foundation I gained from it all!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have absolutely LOVED taking photos my whole entire life. From the time I bought my first camera at 11 years old, I was always the one snapping away capturing vacations, family moments, and my friends. In high school I started taking Photography classes, and then in College I really found my love for it while pursuing my art degree. I have always been very adventurous and outdoorsy, so I have been able to tie together my love for nature and exploring in my photographs today!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a large variety of clients including couples, families, children, newborns, models, musicians, travel tour companies, corporate companies & more! However, most of my clients all share a mutual interest in natural settings, the great outdoors, & are all laid back, easy going folks looking to have a great time and get even greater photos!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My best advice for clients looking to hire a professional photographer is to really take some time and find what clicks with you and your personal style. See what you are drawn to and go from there. I also believe your connection to the photographer is just as important, you want to work with someone who makes you feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed!
