I use a candid/photojournalistic approach and strive to create photos that reflect everything that makes you awesome with minimum fuss. Rates and General Info Headshots/Profile Photos $150/30 min - available/natural light session Headshots/Profile Photos $200/30 min - studio style lighting/plain color backdrop/green screen etc Portrait Sessions (Solo/Senior/Graduate/fitness, Couples/Engagement, Family, Proposals, Elopements/City Hall Weddings) $150 - 30 min, $250 - 1 hr, $200/hr (2+ hrs), 30 minute minimum Weddings $1000/half day (up to 5 hrs), $1500/day (8-ish hrs) Events Rate depends on coverage requirements, deliverables and turn-around time. Travel included within 10 mile radius of Wichita or when booked for 4+ hrs and within 200 miles of Wichita. Can provide travel fee quote for over 10 miles from Wichita+parking/tolls costs depending on location/date-time of travel.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Most often I work under hourly rate which is dependent on type of gear required, amount of setup, support personnel (hair, MUA, stylists etc) and the type of image processing that is desired. Overall, pricing is flexible, so can also offer fixed pricing for more open-ended projects if you think I might be a great fit, but are concerned about the cost of an hourly rate

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Love to chat with folks and hear/learn their vision, goals, and how they think I can help. Happy to chat and entertain questions via messages, in person, or over the phone. Please feel free to contact me as you wish.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

No formal training in photography. I was lucky enough to grow up around cameras and have always enjoyed learning and working with people. I continue to learn through networking and workshops.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My mother worked in journalism and was handy with a camera. I grew up photographing with our family's cameras. A few years ago, when I left the corporate job to explore the options, I figured I would enjoy meeting and working with others as a photographer.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with corporate employees, athletes, b(v)loggers, models, families, children, couples, event coordinators, marketing directors, teachers, photographers, designers, entrepreneurs, artists, writers, singers, musicians, officiants, etc. Really, I'm happy to work with anyone who would like photographs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Dec 2023 - Photographed Awards Dinner for Siemens. Enjoy working large events as they often provide a variety of angles and settings to capture candid corporate portraits and scenes. 9 hrs of coverage and delivered 100 selects within 2 hrs and remaining photos within a week. Nov 2018, I photographed various bridal veils on and off model for Anomalie. We shot for half a day then delivered ~100 retouched photos a couple weeks later.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at sample work and think about the types of looks or feel of photos you prefer. Also, try to make time for quick chat (10-15min) with your potential photographer(s); this will often help you determine how well the photographer will fit in with your project and its goals.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

While not limited to these, thinking about answers to these questions before chatting with your photographer will be helpful, but often the conversation shapes the direction of questions and answers. - How much coverage do you want or need? - How will you use the photos? (share them online?, print them?, use them for marketing/promo/instagram? etc) - How quickly do you require photos to be processed/posted? - What level of processing is required/desired? - What kind of locations are you considering for your session? - What kind of look/lighting do want? More natural light, more of a studio look etc? - What time of day and days of the week will work best to schedule a session? - Will you want multiple looks? (change clothes or lighting style during session?)
