What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There is a spot somewhere on a price scale where you the customer get what you want or more and I am able to continue doing this work. Thats what I always strive for and as a result folks tend to leave happy with what we've made together.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get an idea for what the client has in mind. If they want a somber video I don't want to miss that and bring them something with party rock in the background. To make sure we're on the same page I tend to ask alot of questions and find exactly what will make you happy and strive for that. After I have the vision, I move forward and do all I can in any department to help. Once I know what you're after your project becomes my project and together we shoot for the stars.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I keep an ongoing education in video, audio, and editing as technology continually advances I like to know the most I can about the tools and process I work with to bring you the best product I can.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I went to school to learn more about audio engineering because I had a podcast idea I wanted to do right. I wound up working and directing in video throughout and continued after college

What types of customers have you worked with?

from film festivals to high end commercial work I have worked with the gamut. I've done testimonials and commercials with folks like Vertex all the way to the 48hr film festival. I love it all

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I'm particularly fond of a project I recently did with Director Alexander Balzano called Astral Airways, a creative pursuit in a fake radio station involving demons and old timey radio stylings. It was a lot of fun, it took a couple of weeks to film and I believe is still in post production.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have an idea of the kind of video you'd like made. If you can communicate whats in your head we can get it done, in fact we would love to get it done. The danger always comes from creating in a vacuum unless you'd like to completely let go of the reigns. I like to know how you feel about the project before I dive in, this makes sure you and I are on the same page.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What are your rates?- (always important to know its going to work for both of you) Can you do something like (example) this?- (never hurts to take a few ideas from elsewhere to get your idea accross) Can you (or someone you can bring in) able to do what I have in mind?- (always make sure your professional is confident they can accomplish your project, seems obvious but never hurts to ask)
