What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Due to Covid-19, I am offering varied discounts on services I offer. These will be discussed on a per service basis and will always aim to be a fair compromise for both talent and professional.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Thank you for sharing your interest in my work! All new customers will be contacted and communicated with thoroughly through the preparation stage of the session. We'll iron out as much detail as we can so that there is less stress on the day of the session. This can include mood boards, pinterest sharing, location scouting, etc. Your contact information for image delivery will be gathered after the session and I'll walk through my delivery process again in person. Your email will be registered when you view your new gallery, but will not be spammed with promotions and events throughout the year. All new customers receive a discount on their first order of physical prints.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In high school, I was apart of our E-Communcations program where we focused on all aspects of digital media including film, photography, visual broadcasting, graphic design, web design, and animation. I furthered my education through KU's film and media program until I started working as a studio photographer. My education from there was gained through work experience and mentorship.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started diving into the visual arts back in middle school, creating short films and taking behind the scenes images and portraits for my friends. I had begun my freelance work through word of mouth of friends and family, but I began my professional career when I accompanied my sister to her senior portrait studio session at a local studio. While the photographer was away getting gear, I casually posed my sister and told her where to turn her face for the best lighting. When the photographer returned she asked if I'd be interested in a job and my professional studio career grew from there.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with clients of all ages and various backgrounds. While the majority of my studio photography career was mostly centered around high school seniors, my freelance career has been more active in family portraits, graduations, engagements and proposals, wedding ceremonies, models looking to build their portfolio, and local creatives wanting to showcase their work
