I lived in Los Angeles, working with different agencies and companies for about 4 years. I have worked in New York, Toronto, Seattle, Miami, Portland, Denver and outside of the United States. .................................................................................................................................... *A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. *The turnaround time for all sessions is 17 days. I can provide a 3-day turnaround time with an $185 rush fee. *All rates are flat rates for the session and digital gallery. You are free to print your own work but the company will not be liable for the print self/third party result.

Engagement Portrait Session BASIC: $473, 50 edited digital photos, 45 minutes. DELUXE: $587, 100 edited digital photos, 75 minutes. .................................................................................... Family Portrait Session BASIC: $495, 50 edited digital photos, 45 minutes. DELUXE: $595, 100 edited digital photos, 75 minutes. ............................................................................... Each booking requires a minimum deposit of 50%. The remaining balance is always paid the day of the the shoot.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over the years, I’ve invested in workshops, online courses, mentorships, and countless hours of experimenting, photographing, and refining my style. Working with agencies in LA gave me valuable insight into the professional side of portraiture. Everything from directing talent to understanding the technical standards for commercial work. Traveling and photoshooting in different cities and countries also pushed me to adapt quickly and creatively in all kinds of environments. I completed courses on the skills of working with natural light, camera bodies and lenses, composition, storytelling/posing, editing and post processing. I contracted with a company based in NYC for 2 years with ongoing training and education. I'm consistently studying new techniques, staying current with trends, and always pushing myself to grow both artistically and professionally.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I was a child, I used to photograph my dolls with whatever camera I could get my hands on. I was completely obsessed with capturing little details and trying to tell stories through images. By middle school, I was the one always bringing a camera to school events, documenting everything and everyone. That naturally grew into something more—by high school, I was charging for portraits, taking senior photos, and doing photo sessions for friends and local families. About 10 years ago, I officially launched my business. Since then, it’s been a wild and amazing ride. I moved to LA and had the opportunity to work with agencies, which really expanded my perspective and refined my approach to directing and styling photoshoots. Over the years, I've worked in a number of cities and countries around the world, photographing people from all walks of life. It’s been such a privilege to connect with so many individuals through portrait work. Every face, every story, every setting is a new creative challenge, and I love that!

What types of customers have you worked with?

For nearly a decade I have been telling stories with portraits. From 2014 onward, I have worked with everyone from minor celebrities/influencers, brands, high school seniors, university graduations, engagements & surprise proposals, families & maternity, small & large weddings, business headshots, modeling portfolios, musicians, sports events, humanitarian & photojournalism work, religious ceremonies, reunions, birthday parties, fashion, e-commerce, etc. HOWEVER! Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Working in Montana with my long time client! We had an editorial portraits in a field with the Rocky Mountains and story sky as a backdrop. The light was DREAM. The dogs were surrounding the models, the production was phenomenal!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are a range of photographers providing different services and experiences! Please do an initial scan to see if the photographer is a fit for you. Many photographers do their work as a "side-hustle" or at a freelance level, without providing the full experience of working with a full-time business. Please keep in mind your budget should reflect your expectations. There difference between a photographer who picks up a few photoshoots a month to better their skills and earn extra income vs. a photographer who manages a full-time business with the mindset of producing a unique portrait experience!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What outfits do I want to wear? (Would I need advice or a stylist?) Do I want to include props, pets, or meaningful items? Are there any special needs or considerations (e.g., kids with short attention spans, mobility issues)? Have I had professional photos taken before? How did that experience go? What kind of guidance or direction do I want during the shoot? (Do I like to be posed, or do I prefer more natural interaction?) What is my budget for photography? (Be realistic — quality portrait photography is an investment.) When do I need the photos by? (Is there a deadline for a graduation, event, launch, or holiday card?)
