Avocatography is a photography service that excels in capturing special moments with stunning imagery through various fields of photography. Whether cherishing intimate portraits or capturing the spirit of social gatherings, every moment becomes a story brought to life through extraordinary imagery. If you haven’t guessed already, the name of the business is a combination of Avocado and Photography. Why Avocado? A mentor suggested I name the business after someone or something meaningful — and that’s exactly what I did. On April 16, 2024, my family experienced an unimaginable loss when our 11-year-old daughter passed away from an aggressive brain cancer. In honoring her memory, I chose to blend her love for avocados with my passion for photography. While she didn’t necessarily love eating avocados, she adored avocado-themed stuffed animals and collectibles — they brought her so much joy. With the encouragement of my wife to pursue photography, the guidance of a mentor who helped me understand the industry, and the creative input of family and friends who believed in the vision, Avocatography slowly came to life.
