Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
The pricing is dependent on what all you would like to get out of the session and post shoot editing. I am happy to work with you on a price that feels reasonable for the work you need done!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically we do a consultation call where we discuss what your goals are with the photo session. We figure out the designs, needs, color schemes and create a vision for how you want the session to turn out. After that we agree on a price for your session and then we make magic together!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked on everything from sweet sixteen birthday parties to proms to 5k runs and corporate anniversary events. I’m comfortable doing one on one photo shoots with aspiring models or anyone who just wants to celebrate life! Couples and anniversary pictures are also really fun for me!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Photography is all about the relationship between you, the artist and the camera. Take a look at the artists pictures, if the people in the photos look like they are having a good time you probably found a photographer who knows how to create a great environment. If the people in the photos look interesting, you found someone who is excellent at capturing candids or posing people well. And if they look stiff, maybe keep looking!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1) why are we taking these pictures? What do you want to highlight? 2) what would make you most comfortable doing the photo shoot? Communicate that with your photographer and it will lead to great photos!
