I am a Charlotte, NC based photographer that takes great pride in capturing the true spirit and personality of the people and subjects that I photograph. My style has been described as creative, fun, engaging, and relaxed. I understand that in order for me to capture beautiful images I must create a relaxed environment. I accomplish this by engaging in conversations, listening with my ears and camera, and paying close attention to the smallest of details

What makes my work stand out is how personal I make each shoot. I take the time to understand your vision and vibe, then capture it in a way that feels real, not forced. Even as a newer photographer, I bring fresh eyes, creative direction, and a drive to constantly improve. Every photo is edited with care, every client is treated like a priority—and I don’t stop until you’re proud of the final result.

My business stands out through the quality of work I produce for my clients, and the way I treat my clients. I create a variety of lighting and poses in portraits, and capture a cross-the-board array of photos when I photography events. do this for a very reasonable investment. I edit each photo to produce a high quality image while maximizing quality of each photo straight out of the camera. My turnaround is usually only a couple of days on edits for portraits, and 4 days on weddings and events. I truly enjoy all aspects of photography from lighting to composition to editing. I enjoy the process of producing each photo, and it brings me great pleasure to see my photos bring joy to others. I basically enjoy everything about my photography.

Photography has always been a passion of mine. I love to use both technical and artistic skills to capture some of life's greatest moments. Jessica Tanner Photography has no limits to the type of photography. I love to shoot any subject matter; from newborns, to weddings, as well as pet photography and architectural. I have so much fun finding unique ways to bring out personalities in a photograph.
