Introduction

On one of my earlier weddings back in 2015, a bride said something that really stuck with me and shaped my approach to weddings. While she was gushing over her photos she received, she thanked me for giving them “heirlooms” to show to her future grandkids. I was floored. It put into perspective how important it is to be present for every single moment, no matter how big or small it may be. Every wedding I shoot I can’t help but think “wow, this is probably the only time all of these people will be in the same place at the same time ever again.” And I don’t take that lightly. On top of making sure I get those ~fire~ portraits of you two, every passing moment between your lover, family, and friends will be cherished as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

One of my initial priorities when in touch with a new client is to get to know them as much as possible. What's their story, how did they meet their partner, and learning about their personalities as a whole. It's so important to me to learn all of the small details, because it helps me capture their love more authentically.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have received an associates degree in photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City,and started working alongside established wedding photographers back in 2011 to get hands on experience with weddings.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I picked up a camera once and was never able to put it down.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with a wide range of customers over the years, my range includes weddings, engagements, boudoir, maternity, portraits, families, and events.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend that a customer chats with the photographer as much as possible and figures out if they vibe with their personality. On your wedding day, I rarely leave your side, so it's very important that our energies mesh well together.
