What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We’ll start with a quick message or call to discuss what you’re looking for — whether it’s a dating profile refresh, personal brand portrait, or something more creative. I’ll guide you through prep (like wardrobe and location suggestions), then we’ll shoot at a relaxed pace. You’ll receive professional images you’re proud to share.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BFA in Photography, but some of the most valuable lessons came from assisting commercial photographers early in my career. It was a priceless addition to my formal education, learning hands-on how to work with light, people, and creative direction on real-world shoots. That foundation shaped the way I approach every portrait today.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started in editorial and event photography, drawn to real people and real moments. Over time, I developed a love for creating portraits that feel natural, not forced — the kind that tell a story with just a glance.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with professionals, musicians, actors, authors, entrepreneurs, and everyday folks who just want to look and feel like themselves on camera. Whether it’s your first photoshoot or your fiftieth, I tailor each session to your comfort and goals.

I recently worked with an artist launching their website and social media — we shot in Brooklyn with natural light and a couple of wardrobe options. In under an hour, we captured bold, expressive portraits that helped them look confident and authentic online. That’s the magic I aim for every time.
