~I want you to look like you, just a polished up version. We will discuss: WARDROBE, MAKE-UP AND HAIR ~Can't stress the importance of getting yourself NEW tops/shirts/jacket that fit you well! ~Don't wait until the night before to choose what you are going to wear! The quickest way to put the damper on your shoot is when the shirt, top and or jacket are ill-fitting. ~How to tell if you need a new shirt for the shoot? If the collar will not stand on its own or has a ring around the collar. The camera will pick up that the fabric is worn or faded as well. ~Then there's the awkward conversation about hair. Nose, eyebrows, ears, and beard if any. Trim them, trim them all! ~I have a Make-up Artist and a Hair Stylist I can recommend. I do not recommend make-up for men.

On an almost weekly basis, I am part of the Headshot Crew Web Meetings where we are always critiquing and honing our skills! April 2017 I earned my Bachelor's in Fine Art of SHABANG, accomplished thru the Peter Hurley Headshot Intensive in NYC. 30 Years ago I took my first 35mm film photography class. Fast forward! Beginning in 2006 at Apertures Photo Supply in Tulsa, OK, I took Digital Photography 1, 2, & 3, Wedding Photography, Portrait Photography, a Lighting Class and Photoshop. I am always learning more about photography. Six days a week I am viewing tutorials, listening to podcasts, reading articles and books about photography. I learn thru the critiques of my headshots by Peter Hurley at headshotcrew.com. I am part of and am Event Coordinator for a local photography group called, "Photog" that meets monthly.

I needed to park my camera on a tripod due to an elbow injury and focusing on Headshot Photography allowed me to do that.

My clients have ranged from CEOs, Attorneys, Self-Employed, Arthurs, TV and Radio Personalities, Engineers, Models, Accountants, Real Estate, Actors, etc. I welcome any and all, and each person who enters my studio I am truly grateful for.

It is my goal to make the person on the other side of my camera feel comfortable!

Go to my website under the "Prep" tab and watch Peter Hurley's videos: "It's all about the Jawline", It's all about the Squinch" and practice for a couple of days before the shoot! What? You want more!! Than watch "Hold your sub to look slimmer in photographs.

Ask: "Does the photographer have the heart of a teacher?" The better I prepare you ahead of time on how to get the best expression, jawline, wardrobe, hair and make-up (where applicable) the more successful the results will be for you.
