Introduction

My name is Joseph Austin Scott but you can call me Scott or Austin! I attend the University of South Carolina as a undergrad and I’ve been taking pictures for a couple of years, so I figured why not go all the way with it. I offer reasonable prices for high quality work. I hope to work with you all in the future for those special memories you desire to capture.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

1. To travel I charge .54cents/per mile if it is longer than 10 miles from Irmo/Columbia.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Generally speaking, I get the feel of what you want from me as the photographer. I ask how many people if it is an event or group shoot. If you have a location preference. I ask the attire you plan on wearing. I may ask a lot of questions but none of them are meant to be intrusive, they are meant to ensure I can give you quality photos!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken a couple of photography classes and I have been working with experienced photographers to better my craft.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started taking pictures in high school for friends and for a class and I found great interest in doing it. Also, in my family, I inspire to be like my Grandfather who has passed the trait down to me. I figured now why not go all the way and see where this road may take me!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with friends, family members, other families, babies, children, schools, organizations, churches, businesses, all of the above!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The Autism Awareness event was an event I was very fond of because of the length of the event. As a photographer, you should not feel rushed, and I was not! I was able to enjoy my time at the event and take some great pictures.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you are comfortable with the pricing and what you are getting!!
