What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes I participate in make up artist workshops for airbrush makeup and traditional make up and at Norcostco in Atlanta Georgia

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Believe it or not it all started as a continued education class at Georgia State University make up 101 and from there I just took off. I started working at Estée Lauder as a beauty consultant then freelance makeup artist.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Headshots, Photo shoots, video shoots, and weddings.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am really proud of my sonic video award shoot that I did in Columbia South Carolina. I got to meet the proud owner of 20 franchise sonic locations. This is a family-run business and the opportunity was something that I really cherish because I got to know the family and the history behind sonic and it was really amazing for me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice for customers that are looking to hire me as a make up artist; I would like to let them know that I am very punctual and professional. It is important to be sanitary and I advise my clients about what I'm doing while I'm doing it so they're educated on the make up application.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

There is a lot of chemistry dealing with applying makeup to a customer. Consultations are very important, also skincare and health regiments are very important as well.
