Wedding & lifestyle photography for the adventurous & romantic. Hello, I'm so glad you're here! I'm Amanda! My husband and I recently moved to the Birmingham area from Spokane, WA. He is a pilot in the Air Force and my favorite person in the world. We've been bouncing around the country for the last 8 years with our dog and have lived in Oklahoma, Washington and now, Alabama. I first picked up a camera in 2015 as a way to document the fleeting moments of our ever changing lives and my thirst for telling stories through photography grew from there. In Spokane, my love for photography grew exponentially when I decided to get an A.A. in photography. I learned to develop my own film and prints in the darkroom, honed my photoshop and editing skills, and developed my lighting techniques by learning off camera flash both in the studio and on location. Whether you are looking for a wedding photographer, a family, or portrait photographer, I have the technical/artistic ability and experience to capture your vision and communicate the deeper stories of your special relationships and milestone moments. I also really strive to build true connections with my clients and am there for you day and night throughout the planning process and on the day of your session. I will not only be your photographer, but your shoulder to lean on, your friend to call on if you need anything, and your forever hype woman.

I love art in all aspects. From restoring old and damaged photos to real estate aerials/listing photos to newborn & maternity shoots, I enjoy seeing the world through my lens. Murals, custom art work and illustration are my first loves. I hope to capture more than just a picture with each shot or piece. With a background in the arts and a degree in business marketing, I believe I have an eye for creativity. Making a shot work is more than just pushing a button. I like to see it from different angles and poses to pull the drama from the photo. I’m always up for trying something new and edgy. Which comes across in a lot of my work.
