What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a mostly self taught photographer, learning from courses I’ve taken online from photographers I admire, and trainings tips ive spent hours researching online for years and continue to do daily.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started photography in my early twenties, roughly 12+ years ago. Back than I stuck to senior photos and family sessions. I put photography on the back burner for a long time until last year when being a new mom pushed me into finding something I could do along side my daughter & pour my heart into for myself. I instantly fell back into the groove, fell in love with my clients and have found my speciality in engagements/elopements and weddings

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of my favorite shoots was a maternity/engagement shoot I shot in the rolling hills of my backyard. I sent the couple over my style guide and they came wearing dreamy outfits that just really created some beautiful creamy photos. We picked a golden hour sunset to shoot as well and everything just worked out like magic! You can see part of the album above in “Hannah & Briggs”

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions & take the advice of your photographer. Best lighting. Best locations. Best clothing.
