Wedding & lifestyle photography for the adventurous & romantic.
Hello, I'm so glad you're here! I'm Amanda! My husband and I recently moved to the Birmingham area from Spokane, WA. He is a pilot in the Air Force and my favorite person in the world. We've been bouncing around the country for the last 8 years with our dog and have lived in Oklahoma, Washington and now, Alabama.
I first picked up a camera in 2015 as a way to document the fleeting moments of our ever changing lives and my thirst for telling stories through photography grew from there. In Spokane, my love for photography grew exponentially when I decided to get an A.A. in photography. I learned to develop my own film and prints in the darkroom, honed my photoshop and editing skills, and developed my lighting techniques by learning off camera flash both in the studio and on location.
Whether you are looking for a wedding photographer, a family, or portrait photographer, I have the technical/artistic ability and experience to capture your vision and communicate the deeper stories of your special relationships and milestone moments. I also really strive to build true connections with my clients and am there for you day and night throughout the planning process and on the day of your session. I will not only be your photographer, but your shoulder to lean on, your friend to call on if you need anything, and your forever hype woman.

Photography isn’t my side job or exciting hobby; this is my full time career and I put everything into it. My passion for photography started as a teenager when I found my love for the beauty of nature, sunsets, and adventure. It then grew so much stronger as I traveled the world and couldn’t put my camera down, wanting to capture every moment of the cultures, rich history, unique architecture, beautiful landscapes, etc that every country has to offer. After becoming a mother, I discovered a new love of photography: family lifestyle portraiture. Every family has such a special love with fabulous quirks. I am so grateful to be a part of freezing those moments and unique bonds on camera for a family to cherish for a lifetime. Because I am so passionate about my photography and truly love what I do, I can promise great results from every one of my photo sessions. Additionally, I do not require “package purchasing” once my edits are finalized. My pricing is simple. You can pick and choose as many prints/downloads from your session that you’d like, priced by size.

Through excellent photography and customer service, and because I am truly interested in providing you with the best photography I can within your budget. I could do a lot of other things (and have) but I am a photographer because I because I believe I can provide you with photographs you & I both will love.
I enjoy people and getting to know them - even in short conversations - and then wowing them with awesome photography. I also like to be inspired, and I find inspiration not only in the people I meet but in architecture, products, travel and nature. I am lucky to be able to work in a profession that introduces me to an ever changing but always inspiring world.
