Introduction

Hi! My name is Shani Zreik, owner of Shani Zreik Photography LLC. I am a senior portrait photographer in Prosper, Tx and throughout DFW in Texas. I specialize in senior photos, graduation photos, small families, engagement & proposal, branding and headshots, and special event photography. I enjoy talking and laughing with my clients, and I try to make everyone feel as relaxed as possible. Along the way, I’ll capture incredible images for you to last a lifetime. On weekends, you can often find me and my teen son taking photos together and scouting new locations to shoot within DFW. A little FAQ: For special event photography, you will receive all images for download from your online photo gallery. In other words, all images and your session event are both included in one price. I generally photograph smaller events of 125 people or fewer. For photo sessions, I offer several packages so you can choose the one that best fits your needs. Portrait packages will differ in amount of shoot time and number of images included in your session. I’m here to help and serve you. Please reach out with any questions! Warmly, Shani

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I love to laugh and I truly enjoy meeting new people.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I'm happy to call, text, or email with clients to talk about their photo session location, style, and wardrobe. I also send clients information (with photos) on how to plan and coordinate their wardrobes and provide other helpful tips for a fun and successful photo session.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have taken online photography classes for many years. It's not something I ever plan to stop doing. It is always fun to learn something new!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My passion for photography began over ten years ago when both of my sons were very young. I would pick up my click and shoot camera and follow them around, hoping they would stay sit still long enough for me to get a decent photo. Eventually, I realized I could never attain the beautiful imagery I desired without learning the necessary skills and using the right gear. I invested in a high-level camera and photography classes (which I still enjoy taking!). I couldn't get enough time behind the lens! All I wanted was to take photos. Seven years ago, I began doing small portrait sessions for friends and have never looked back. And now, yes, I dream about photography! So...Shani Dreams of Photography was born.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with large families, groups of kids, infants, couples, graduating seniors, and pets to name a few types of clients. I also shoot event photography event, focusing on small, intimate events such as baby and bridal showers, birthday parties, and family reunions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I worked on was a multigenerational family portrait session with grandparents, parents, and children. It was so much fun taking big group photos and then capturing smaller group photos with lots of fun pairings and tons of laughter. Photographing grandparents with their grandchildren is incredibly special!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My best advice for anyone looking for a photographer would be to find someone who is flexible and easy going (so that you feel relaxed during your session) and whose style of photography draws you in.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It's a fantastic idea to look through a photographer's gallery of photos to see if you like his or her style. I recommend putting together a Pinterest board highlighting the mood and style of imagery that you would like to capture during your photo session and then sharing these images with your photographer.
