Introduction

I love to connect with everyone I photograph, I aim to capture an emotion in the moment and give you photos you will cherish forever. As long as I can remember, I have loved taking photos and the art of capturing a moment in time. My passion for photography grew when my daughter, Lotus, was born in 2004 and I began documenting her childhood with an eye toward catching each irreplaceable moment. Nature and art inspire me and I regularly explore the DMV area looking for non traditionally beautiful or off-the-beaten path spots that can be overlooked. I love meeting and connecting with people, and I always have fun with my sessions. It's an amazing gift to me that photography gives me the opportunity to create art. It's possibilities are endless and all around us in everyday life, even in little things. I incorporate light and landscape to help create memorable photos. My aim is to give you pictures you will love and treasure!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The investment starts at $350 per hour. There is a $30 travel fee depending on distance from Centreville VA.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Text me! It's best if we can schedule a time to talk by phone. We can can talk about your vision and my process and I can answer any questions you have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been taking photos for 30+ years, countless hours have been invested in learning, growing, and expanding my craft. I started taking photos professionally in 2012.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always loved photography but when my daughter Lotus was born in 2004, I became much more focused on capturing as many moments as I could with her. I started taking pictures of friends and their kids and the idea grew from there.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types! Besides my photography business, I had a pet care business for many years. I'm very used to interacting with many types of people.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I captured a surprise proposal in Washington DC and I loved every minute of it! The exciting parts about the plan and then the proposal and the editing too! So fun!! I loved being able to be a part of such a special moment! We did a portrait session after the proposal and the entire session ran about an hour or so.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would look at their work. To me, the type of photographs the photographer takes speaks volumes about the photos you should expect to receive.
