Introduction

Portuguese-American artist with a European education and a bold, minimalist style perfectly suited for the American entrepreneur. :) I started as a web and graphic designer to fulfill my desire to have a career that is artistic, technical, and visual. As a web designer, I bought a camera and began taking photos in order to add image content for my clients’ websites. As a fan of music, I also began experimenting with photography at small local concerts. After receiving complimentary feedback about these website and live music photos, I decided to pursue photography professionally. I strengthened and developed my skills by attending workshops, enrolling in professional online courses, and test shooting in the studio with musicians, friends, and my crazy family. I am available to travel anywhere in Virginia and DC and can shoot both digital and film. I want to take the time to get to know you. It's totally fine to tell me you don't know how to pose. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

You will receive lots of benefits. I am able to travel anywhere in Virginia and DC. The pictures will be edited. You will have a gallery website. You can share the website with friends and Family. You can buy prints on the website though you have the freedom to print the pictures anywhere you like.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I want to take the time to know you. It's totally fine to tell me you don't know how to pose. I'm not going to say I will guide you during the shoot, instead, I want to know who you are and get to know each other so you will be much more comfortable in being your silly self during the shoot which you will end up amazing natural pictures.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started as a web and graphic designer. I wanted something to work on a job that is artistic and technical at the same time. I wanted to work on something more visual than communication. I learned a lot going to workshops, buying professional online courses and lots of training in the studio.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I bought a camera so I could fill content into the websites for my clients. I was receiving so many compliments with my photography. I decided to do it professionally and I been having more exposure doing it.
