Introduction

My style is organic and natural, I allow things to play out in front of my camera and try to capture moments as they unfold. It is always my goal to showcase the subject of our shoot in the best light possible. There is nothing I love more than the smile on my clients face when they see the final images of a successful photoshoot.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We will start with a quick phone call to chat about your individual needs, we will discuss your vision, the amount of time the photo shoot will take, and feel out each other to see if we will be a good match. Then if we decide to work together, we will set a date, time, and location for our photo shoot. I ask for a deposit of 30% to reserve the date for you shoot. After that, we will discuss styling your shoot and source any additional items we might need to bring your vision to life. During our shoot you can expect me to be professional and casual doing everything I can to make you (or the subject of our shoot) look fabulous. After our shoot, I will work on editing your photos and typically send a sneak peek of a few key photos within 5 days. You will receive a beautiful online gallery of your images, easily downloadable in the full resolution size for printing or a smaller size for sharing on screens. Depending on the scale of the project you should expect to get your full gallery of edited images within 2 -15 weeks. For example, headshots will be a much quicker turn around time than a wedding will be.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from Colorado Mountain College with a degree in Photography in 2012 and have been working professionally since then.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have loved capturing moments on camera since I was a little girl in the 90's messing around with disposable cameras. I begged my parents for a digital camera one Christmas and the rest is history!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with families, pregnant folks, queer couples, cis couples, small business owners, entrepreneurs, real estate agents, air b+b owners, luxury car owners, chefs, the list goes on!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently I photographed an intimate wedding downtown Seattle, it was a beautiful day and I had such a wonderful time photographing every moment from the bride frosting her own cake, to the private karaoke party after dinner. The images show the story of the day and reflect the love that was in the air.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Your images are a reflection of you and you should love them endlessly! A photograph is always also a reflection of the photographer so you should LOVE your photographer as well! Be sure you and your photographer have a similar style and vision, if you don't get along in person you probably won't like the product in the end.
