Introduction

Hey friend, I'm Eliza! I am a passionate videographer/photographer and love creating beauty through both, especially when it comes to real connections between people. With a background in documentary filmmaking from the previous eight years of my work, I started capturing weddings, portraits, and families on camera with an eye for detail and human connection back in 2021. My goal with any project is always to capture real moments with real people -- in the most beautiful lighting possible, of course! Full packages and pricing are available in bio link 🥰

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Prices listed on projects include filming/photographing, editing, and revision time. You are paying for a completed project that meets your standards and expectations. I charge a 50% deposit for photoshoots and weddings on booking, but do offer payment plans on request.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
With a new customer, I will discuss the details of your project with you over text, phone call, or video chat, whichever you prefer! We will discuss dates, project expectations, and you will tell me any little touches you would like for your video or photoshoot!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
While I did graduate Summa Cum Laude from my university with a degree in film and media arts, I feel that my best film education came from a studio called Spy Hop Productions and from my mentors there. There I learned how to edit, to film professionally, how to deliver projects on a tight timeline, to cover events, to work with clients one-on-one, and so much more. I got my first clients and traveled to film for the first time with their help. Beyond that, I have spent more time with a camera in my hands than almost anything else, and I believe that when your work is your passion, you pour that much more time into it and become that much better as a result.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started filmmaking as a young kid, using saved Halloween candy to pay my friends to be in my movies and music videos. As a teenager I moved onto short fiction and documentary films, then during college I worked in documentary television production and on the side as a freelancer, continuing in that line after graduation when I wasn't traveling. I fell in love with portrait photography slowly over the years until it became a passion, and I still take landscape photos just for the love of it every chance I get.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Over the last year, I have worked mainly with couples leading up to their big day, families with and without children, and graduating seniors. I have worked extensively with CEOs of small businesses and non-profit organizations, artists, music bands, and personal clients looking for videographers for their events or photographers for their bridal, senior, boudoir, and just-for-fun photoshoots.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my favorite recent projects happened out on the Washington coastline! The sweet couple who hired me wanted beautiful photos from their vacation after flying all the way from the east coast. I got to be their photographer and their tour guide! At the beginning of the shoot, R. patted his pocket and looked at me meaningfully as his girlfriend frolicked about. I knew exactly what he meant. When the moment was right, he got down on one knee in the sand and asked her to be his wife! The way V. embraced her wild side and R. adored her through the whole shoot made my heart sing. Truly a perfect day!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find someone who is easy to work with, and who you can be yourself around! I want to make your experience as easy as possible so I can do the work and you can have a stress-free wedding day or photoshoot that you'll love.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Be sure that you are ready to have something created! Pros are ready to work if you are ready to have it done now.
