Introduction

I'm Sheina Luchins, a freelance photographer, currently living in Mequon WI born and raised in sunny California. I see the world through my lens - quite literally. I've always been a visual learner; so photography came very naturally to me at a young age. My knowledge in photography is widespread and allows for tremendous variety of subjects; from little ones of all ages to formal and candid portraits, as well as fashion and food photography. I love the challenge of capturing everyone's unique personalities - and I find I do my best work in the unscripted moments in between poses. My calm demeanour and positive energy make the photoshoot relaxed and enjoyable so I can focus on capturing the real character of each and every one of my subjects. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love getting to meet new clients! The first step is usually having a phone conversation to discuss details, the clients style and what they would like out of this experience. And then we take it from there and create magic together with beautiful photos!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied photography at SMC in Los angeles California.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started at a very young age playing with light and capturing moments, and lots of hard work and practice led me to open my own business doing what I love!

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types of people from all over the country, with many different backgrounds.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you read reviews and look at their past photoshoots and work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Clients should consider what they would like the photoshoot for, how they would use their photos, whether it's for wall art, professional use, for their blog, etc. and what style really speaks to them. That will already give the photographer a clear picture of which direction to go in with all of that in mind.
