Introduction

I’m Alexis Rodriguez — a Chicago-based photographer focused on portraits, events, and editorial-style storytelling. My background spans school portraits, events, sports, product shoots, and now high-impact automotive photography for Honda. This range taught me to adapt fast, light well, and — most importantly — capture moments with purpose. Whether you’re building a personal brand, capturing a milestone, or planning a creative shoot, I bring a cinematic eye and a clean, editorial style that elevates every session. I offer focused, 2-hour sessions designed for maximum creativity and efficiency — ideal for clients with busy schedules or short-form projects. Need more time? Additional hours can be added at an increased rate. Every booking includes expert-level retouching, creative direction (if needed), and a smooth, professional experience from start to finish. 📍 Based in Chicago | Weekday & Weekend availability | See my work: lexpix . net

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is based on the type, length, and distance of the event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a self-taught photographer. My photographs may not have that "polished and perfect" look but I believe my style gives my photos a unique look.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started off as a hobby then got hired to be a school photographer. Did that for three months then moved on to do freelance work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I pretty much worked and photographed every age group. As a former school photographer, I have experience working with kindergartners to high schoolers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I believe my fellow photographers and I are on an equal playing field e.g expensive equipments, experience, good customer service, etc. Research the photographer's work and see if their style fits your needs instead of going for the cheapest one.
