Introduction

Hello! My name is John Wu, and I'm a photographer with a lifelong passion for capturing beautiful moments. From a young age, I developed a keen eye for the artistry of light, color, lines, and texture, starting with early experiences in photography and darkroom work. With over 170,000 photos in my portfolio, I bring a unique blend of technical skill and artistic vision to every project. My goal is to use my sensitivity to beauty to create stunning images that you'll cherish. I'm excited to connect with you and discuss how I can bring your vision to life.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
As a new photography professional, I'm offering a substantial introductory discount to start my business here. My rates depend on the lead, but will be very competitive, and I'm happy to provide a detailed quote tailored to your specific needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
A. Confirm the date, time, address, time length, picture or video amount. B. Discuss the customer's plan and demand, give professional advice, make the final plan. C. Make sure the prices are, then customers pay to Thumbtack. D. At the shooting site, design and help customers finish the shooting. E. According to the contract, optimize or edit the pictures or videos. F. Provide pictures or videos online, or copy after shooting.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
My educational experience is in law and business management, but I started learning photography in childhood. Photography is my vital hobby and passion, and I read almost all the books and magazines about photography and cameras when I was young. I have my own understanding of photography. You can see what I saw through my lenses from the pictures I attached here.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I bought my first SLR in 1989; then I started to take high-quality portraits, landscapes, and weddings. In 2002, I started to take pictures with my first digital camera, a KODAK, and took various photos while traveling. Last year, I retired, and I have enough time to take my hobby as my own business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Wedding photos or videos for young couples. Portrait pictures for people of all ages. Landscape or construction photos for magazine covers. Sport and meeting relevant shooting for events.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Eastern Drama for a church, shot with a Nikon D780 and a Sigma 150-600mm zoom, lasting one hour.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
A good photographer not only takes pictures for you but also records your timeless moments in your life.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
People are various. Some people need just a picture, some people want to memorize their beauty, and some people want to retain their pieces of life. Hopefully, my customers will prefer the camera pictures rather than the cellphone pictures.
