Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
It is difficult to have a standard pricing system as no 2 jobs are the same, that is why it is better to see whats involved before i can give a price. I do not price jobs below there value nor do i price jobs at a ridiculous amount , i think that when i give a price i am very fair to the work involved.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Firstly i try to establish a relationship with the client to see if we are a good fit for each other.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have attended VA licensing course to be classified as a B class contractor.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started a cleaning service 16 years ago which my wife still runs, I always was asked if i knew how to fix this and that so gradually it spun into another business and what started out with small fixes soon grew to the larger remodels with the help of several contacts which i still have to this day.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
There is no standard client ,everyone is different.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Currently working on a whole house project which covers most of my skills from flooring, plumbing, electrical and painting.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
They are a lot of contractors out there some good and some bad.My advice would be to ask for references on at least 3 past projects and check up on them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I have gone on estimates where the husband and wife started arguing in front of me about the project so defiantly make sure what you want done and how much you can budget before getting a contractor over, then ask the contractor for his ideas.
