What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Regardless of the type of photography, quotes include capturing and editing the photos, as well as the digital delivery of those photos, with every service that I provide. I work very well with client's budgets and price ranges. For a firm price, I would ask for a consultation over the phone to better understand the requirements you would like me to meet.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Every customer can expect high quality work, with every service I provide. 1) With new customers, I would typically schedule an over the phone consultation to better understand and discuss the details and requirements you would like me to exceed in capturing your situation, as well as discuss a firm price that works with your budget. 2) I will be in constant contact with you up until the date of the photoshoot. 3) At the end of the photoshoot, I accept payment in cash or through Venmo. 4) I will edit your photos and be in contact with you until the delivery of those photos. 5) I will deliver your photos through an online download (typically Dropbox), or through mailing over a USB if preferred. 6) If you are satisfied with my work, I will kindly ask you to leave me a review on my Thumbtack profile :)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a self-taught photographer who has been shooting landscapes, travel photography, portraits, real estate, and weddings for the last 8 years all across the globe. I have worked with clients ranging from large corporations and advertising departments to smaller companies, to start ups and individuals and families.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I became passionate about photography as soon as I traveled to Iceland for the first time. I immediately fell in love with capturing the perfect landscape photograph, which later transitioned to capturing human emotions through portrait photography and other mediums.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with everyone from large companies shooting ad campaigns, to brides on their wedding day, to amazing families and individuals. Every client poses a new experience and gives me a new challenge and that is what I love most about photography!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently shot a wedding at a beautiful location in Santa Barbara. I am particularly fond of this one because the location was particularly striking. The wedding took place at the largest church in the city, and made for some incredible images!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ultimately I believe that anybody who looks beyond the image and recognizes the immense power that the medium of photography has, and is able to create emotion and energy into their images, is somebody worth hiring.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Budget is very important from a logistical standpoint, as well as what style you are looking for. This can vary greatly from client to client. Everybody has their own unique visions!
