Introduction

Great photos are the result of a great experience! *Thumbtack pros pay for leads, so please find me elsewhere online if you're just curious, not serious :) * photography & videography are separate services that I cannot deliver simultaneously. Please inquire about one or the other, not both in the same inquiry. The cost of both services will be at least double the budget of one. I LOVE my job; connecting with people, understanding their individual needs, and working together to accomplish the desired end result! Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I am always open to consultation calls so I can make sure I know exactly what my clients are after. Every detail (from clothes, to location, to general theme) counts - so I'm always happy to offer my professional advice and help bring their ideas into fruition!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a self-taught photographer. I started exploring the art 6 years ago and have not stopped learning since. There's always room for improvement and staying up to date with equipment and technology keeps me sharp, too.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Pure passion for art, beauty, and life. I began my journey with photography when I was living in Rome Italy, where my surroundings were too gorgeous to ignore. But I am also a real people-person. I love meeting new people from around the world and find a lot of joy in connecting with them and capturing their proudest accomplishments, works of art, fun-filled events, and most joyous moments. Not to mention, I think everyone deserves to have some portraits that just make them feel good!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all types of people from all corners of the world. Moms and dads, entrepreneurs and artists, athletes, CEOs, and "ordinary Joe"s. I do not discriminate!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently photographed a proposal and, while the entire occasion took just about an hour, the experience was beautiful and the final images are completely dreamy!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I think it's always important to remember that quantity is different from quality. Someone might offer you 100 photos from an hour long portrait session, but they won't be the same quality as those photographers who offer, say, 10-15 from the same time frame. I'd also say, it never hurts to give your photographer photo references so he or she can aim to bring your ideas to life!
