Introduction

Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile. I founded my photography business in 2010 and have learned so much doing a wide variety of photography! ***FYI I do not formally offer professional Videography-I can shoot clips during shoots for reels, etc but I primarily do photos. If you are looking for full video coverage you will either need to hire a separate Video person or a company that can send 2 people. I work alone at this time. **** -I work in both the Orlando & Tampa Bay areas. I offer Portrait photography of all kinds (Family, HS Senior, Maternity, Engagement, Headshots etc), Pet Photography Corporate/ Private Event, and Wedding Photography. I come to you. As a Top Pro on Thumbtack for over 9 years, I value every client and strive to make your experience seamless and enjoyable. I know it can seem challenging to find a photographer. You will find me to be easy going. I love what I do-every project is a fun adventure for me. Photos are returned quickly. My pricing is fair and transparent—portrait packages include fully retouched images, while event photography offers basic editing (with optional upgrades). All sessions come with high-resolution files, plus options for professional prints through your final gallery. Give me as much detail as you can about the kinds of photos you need in your request and where you are located. I can help you choose a location for Portrait/Pet Shoots. I've recently added some slideshows of my photos to this profile! Check them out below. Available Services- Portrait Photography-Family, Children, senior/graduation, Engagement, Maternity, model, pretty much any kind of portrait you can think of! Head Shots-I can do them outdoors or I can come to your home or office to do studio style shots. I have experience photographing large amounts of employees at offices and onsite at conferences as well. See the Head Shot gallery on my website. Corporate-I have done a wide variety of Corporate work from Grand Openings to Multiple Day Conference events. Examples of my work available on my website. I am also interested in working with anyone needing a variety of photos for their small business website. Private Event- Birthdays, Anniversary Parties, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers etc. Weddings- I prefer doing shorter weddings 2-5 hours in length. Pricing starts at $600. All packages include edited high resolution files. I am available for a few longer weddings a year as well. Pet Photography- I love photographing pets! I love capturing their personalities outdoors at beautiful locations but can also photograph them in their natural home environment or set up backgrounds for studio style photos if desired. I have worked with pet businesses for photos with Santa and mini sessions as well. Thank you for visiting my profile I hope to work with you!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All of my Packages now include fully edited PRINT Resolution photo files which the client can print themselves up to 11x14"-Larger print products should be purchased through me. Price is dependent on the type of photography, length of shoot and number of final edited files you are looking for. Also on how far I have to travel. Event shoots include an unlimited number of files. Artistic Portrait/Pet shoots usually include a set number of files the client picks from a gallery of proofs but I do offer a special price if you want to purchase all the files in the gallery. I do full artistic Photoshop editing on my portrait and pet photography and on the best photos from Weddings and Events-both private and corporate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The customer tells me what kind of photos they need and we set a date and location for the photos. Most often we communicate via email but I am happy to chat by phone or meet in person if desired to plan out the session. I encourage clients to send me photos they like that they see on Pinterest etc so I have an idea of the kinds of photos they are looking for. I do a variety of photography so each client and shoot is different! I usually have a a pr

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa with a degree in Digital Photography in 2010. I took classes there in all different kinds of photography, Photoshop and marketing. This gave me a great base but I have learned the most by doing the work and accepting a wide variety of work. I have recently been taking additional online training to learn more about advanced lighting techniques. Before becoming a photographer I worked in Retail Management for many years where I learned to work with and/or train a wide variety of people and to think fast on my feet! I earned the Manager of the Year award at Sam Goody in 1999. I feel a lot of those skills have carried over to help my in my photography business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I am fortunate that I get to do a variety of different photography jobs and meet a variety of people. I have photographed families from all over the country and the world who were vacationing in the area. I have worked with a variety of Corporate clients -everything from Headshots to Multi Day Conferences. I have photographed several events for Bucs Players charities as well. I do a lot of Pet photography and work with both pet parents and local Doggy Day cares.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at their website and see how many photos they show you in their galleries/portfolio, the more they are willing to show the better. You also want someone who is talented at editing/retouching photos-not just shooting photos and giving them to you as is. Be sure to know what exactly is included in the packages they offer-web res or high res (printable) photo files, photos just edited for exposure/sharpness or fully retouched with skin smoothing/artistic filters etc. If a photographer is too cheap you are probably not going to get high quality work. They should use professional flash or have that at least as an option when needed even if they mainly like to do natural light work.
